Every one of us, growing up, wants to change the world.  We seek to leave a lasting mark upon the world, some reminder for future generations that "I was here, I made a difference".  These desires grow with us, even if we believe that we have put them away with the rest of our childish ideas or notions.

In and of itself, this is not a bad thing.  This can be the motivation to improve yourself and your life.  What one has to be careful of is the lack of a clear goal.  Without a clearly defined goal, it is impossible to reach your full potential.  A business cannot last without a product or service, a musician with no musical direction will sell next to no albums, and a person with no goal will usually spend their life watching it pass them by.

Business is more than a means to an end:  It is something that a person can find meaning and purpose within.  People grow up thinking that work is something people do because they are supposed to, but why can't we enjoy work?  Better yet, why can't our passion be our life's work.

There is a subtle art to all tasks, one that can call on a person to be greater than they actually are, if only they will heed the call.  We act as if the tasks we do at work are mundane because we refuse to acknowledge what they could be.  We ignore the relevance of what we do, and we lose part of ourselves for doing so.

Work is not something to pay the bills.  It is a calling.  A calling to bring to life that most secret of dreams held deep inside of you.  To change the world, and make part of it yours.  It is, in itself, an act of creation.  Of life.

Find what you love and love what you do.

Bear witness to our passion, and let us help bring yours to fruition.
